The Bills Change of Players

The team Buffalo Bills already concluded their spring minicamp and 5 of their players were released by the team. Linebacker Blake Constanzo, who in all the games that the Bills played last season and three games in 2007, was one of those released. The other four were defensive linemen Gerald Washington and John Faletoese, defensive back Kyle Ward and offensive lineman Joel Bell. This was the move done shortly after their mandatory minicamp for three days had ended and the team would be on break until the 25th of next month for their training camp in Rochester.
In replacement of the players who were waived by the Bills were Pat Thomas, a veteran and is a free agent, Alvin Bowen, who missed the games last season because of a knee injury and who was the fifth-round draft pick in the year 2008. They also signed a free agent Ashlee Palmer who was an undrafted player.
After the minicamp closed, Dick Jauron, the Bufalo Bills’ coach has updated the status of the injured players that he has. John DiGiorgo, backup linebacker and James Hardy, wide receiver had knee injuries and may be opening the training camp being included in the list of unable to perform. Marshawn Lynch, who was not able to practice for the last three days because of a swollen foot, was found to have to broken bones. The wide receiver CJ Hawthorne who underwent a surgery on his left foot would be back and will be ready when training camp starts. However the Nick Hennessey, Bills’ backup offensive lineman will be out indefinitely after he had a leg injury during a practice.
With the changes that they have on the team, will we be expecting a better game from the Buffalo Bills? This is what we will be expecting on their come back when the next season of NFL starts.

Injured Bear Comes Back while another is not Far Behind

Charles Tillman, Chicago Bears’ cornerback is back on the field after a surgery in January that is needed to repair his shoulder from an injury that he got when they played against Philadelphia Eagles last September 28. He appeared for a practice last Wednesday for the first time. He feels good now and he already have that full strength on his shoulder now. At the practice on Wednesday, he lined up for the team’s first defense replacing Zach Bowman at the left cornerback position.
Tommie Harris, the defensive tackle says he will be back for the training. He had not been on practice for the OTAs but he joined the individual skills portion at a practice. During the last season, Harris missed two games because of the knee injury that he had, and with the three last seasons, he had been suffering problems with his hamstring and his knee. However, according to him, he felt better now and he is on a cruise trying to rest and enjoy the off season and he will be back for the training camp and wishes to help his teammates when the next NFL season would start. Harris wished to be with the team and be 100% ready when the training camp starts.
Chicago Bears also have other players who have missed the practice like their linebacker Brian Ularlacher but do not wish to discuss the absence of the player while Matt Forte had missed practice because of a hamstring injury. They also have added new players by hiring Juaquin Iglesias as a wide receiver and Jarron Gilbert for the defensive tackle in a four year contract but no financial terms were discussed.
Could this new team be at its very best in the coming season with Tillman and Harris back? Would they become stronger with the new players? This is an exciting team to look into next season of NFL.
